What is Drop-in soccer?

Coach Stefan Clemens and Coach Ramon Zambrano offer weekly soccer sessions for local youth soccer players (independant from Magic Soccer or other soccer clubs). Girls and boys ages 4-12 years old. Any skill level welcome, usually a beginner soccer class but the experienced/advanced players are placed together when we split off into groups. The drop-in sessions are designed for the players to learn skills and get more familiar with the ball at their feet. We design each soccer session so the players can learn, have fun, and build positive relationships on the field. We preach strong character values including respect, hard work, good sportsmanship, clear communication, and kindness to others.

Common Schedule

1. Welcome activity with the ball to help players acclimate and meet coaches

2. Quick meeting: coach intro and set expectations with players

3. Skills activity (dribbling, running with the ball, changing direction, etc.)

4. Water break

5. Test skills in an open space environment to help the players build comfort with limited pressure

6. Water break

7. One-on-one testing skills with opponents

8. Scrimmage four-on-four

Where will Drop-in soccer sessions take place?

Location will be at a soccer field in Orinda, California. Fields include Pine Grove, Orinda Sports Field, Orinda Intermediate School, Wilder fields, and Wagner Ranch Elementary.

How much does it cost?

$30 per player per one hour session (Fridays and Saturdays)

Are there any discounts?

Sibling discount: Full price for first player. Then 50% off every sibling.
